Register today for the D.C. Behavioral Health Association's annual conference to qualify for an early-bird discount. The conference will take place from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm at Trinity Washington University.

This year's conference is all about health reform. The Affordable Care Act creates huge business opportunities for behavioral health providers -- and we're making sure providers have the tools need to take advantage of these opportunities. Conference sessions will address the Health Benefit Exchange, the Medicaid program's health home project.

Clinicians will benefit from sessions addressing the ethical challenges of privacy (with continuing education credits for ethics) and from new research on the links between mental illness and traumatic brain injuries.

With health reform’s new opportunities for healthcare coverage of addiction and mental health treatment, every clinic director and chief financial officer must know how to design their clinic from front-end to back-end to maximize healthcare revenue – and our full-day session will provide the pointers to ensure your revenue efficiency. This session is designed to help providers delivering addiction, mental health, or HIV services understand the management implications of shifting to a Medicaid reimbursement model.
