Register Today: Lessons Learned from the Mental Health Field

posted Jan 15, 2014, 7:01 AM by DC Behavioral Health Association
Join us on Thursday, January 30th, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm for a stimulating panel and discussion about the impact of insurance funding on the management of behavioral health services.

Substance abuse and HIV providers will increasingly require insurance to fund their services. As grant funds decline and insurance coverage of behavioral health expands, providers must transform their payment models.

How does relying on insurance transform your organizational structure? This panel will feature executives from mental health agencies, who will discuss how their organizations evolved in response to insurance payment models. Panelists include:
  • Denise Capaci, Director of Family Services Administration for Catholic Charities;
  • Jack Kline, Director of Co-Occurring Disorder for Community Connections;
  • Dennis Hobb, CEO of the McClendon Center;
  • Toni Zollicoffer, Director of Behavioral Health Services for So Others Might Eat (SOME).
This event is free, but pre-registration is required due to limited seating. Click here for more details and to register.
